Chang Gung University as an important research cooperation institution of each campus of the Chang Gung Medical Foundation, we have the responsibility to comply with the research ethics and laws of clinical trials and human research in parallel with the hospital. Therefore, the "Human Research Protection Office" was established in July 2022. The mission of the office includes supervising all units and all researchers on campus to understand research ethics, and to observe research integrity when conducting human research and safeguard the safety and well-being of human research participants. In addition, research institutions have the responsibility to make human research participants and the community aware of the rights and obligations of human research participants. Therefore, our office has formulated the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) as the basis for our university to truly implement the protection of human subjects in research institutions.
